Urgent Need for Providers!
Please join us on a wonderful, family-friendly mission trip to El Salvador June 8-16, 2024! Pastor Carlos Polio and the church members from Oasis de Gracia in Santa Ana will be our hosts and fellow servants. The Lord always provides the team that He wishes to serve in His name; I am always humbled at how He provides more than we ask for and imagine! We are looking for all types of providers (physicians, dentists, optometrists, NP's, PA's, physical and occupational therapists, etc.), pharmacists, nurses, CMAs, and professional students. We also welcome non-medical team members. Children should be 16 and above and will need an accompanying adult; the exception to the age limit is children of providers. All members should be able to serve independently. We will help staff a one week clinic in a location to be determined by the church, and we will have time for relaxation and some sightseeing towards the end of the week.
Speaking Spanish is not a requirement for this trip, but any Spanish skills are useful. Our interpreters will be students from Escuela Cristiana Oasis.
We desire to share the Gospel with all patients and to love all with the love of the Lord. This ministry follows Jesus’ command in Luke 9:2:”…and He sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” This experience will bless you, and will remind El Salvadorans that they are loved by God and not forgotten. As the Apostle Peter says, "Use whatever gift you have to serve others” (1 Peter 4:10).

Prerequisites
- IMPORTANT! The expiration date on your passport MUST be at least 6 months past the return date of your trip. Processing times for new passports and passport renewals is 3 - 4 months so be sure to start the process immediately after you have been approved for the trip if your passport expiration date does not meet the requirement.
- Foreign language skills are appreciated, but not required.
