Our medical mission team under the leadership of Dr. Hannah Chow-Johnson, served Atiquizaya, El Salvador, providing care to nearly 2,000 patients over a five-day period. The clinic opened with a ceremony attended by the mayor, who praised the effort as a miracle for the resource-limited city. Despite initial challenges, the team’s flexibility and the presence of the local church, plus over 100 volunteers, helped operations run smoothly. Patients who came received medical, dental, reading eyeglasses, hair-cutting, and counseling services, with many hearing the gospel for the first time. Volunteers shared their gifts, prayed with patients, and offered children arts and crafts activities to spread God’s love. Fifty-two individuals accepted Christ, and ten recommitted their faith. Every patient received a warm smile, a gentle touch, and prayers for their lives as a go-home gift. =D

2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

Only our God can provide comfort in places of brokenness and suffering. And it is through these weaknesses and brokenness that He is revealed. Our suffering becomes a canvas upon which He paints His mercy, grace, and redemption. Our wounds and scars allow His light to shine through, testifying to His glory. Through the brokenness, we discover God as our healer, our provider, our refuge, and our strength. He used me, a broken vessel, as a testimony to this grace on this trip, and it is here where I found true joy in my heart.

May all praise, honor, and glory be unto our Lord and Saviour!
