I am a Pediatrician with ample missionary experience with adults and kids.. We served so many people that were needy and oh so thankful! It was such a blessing to be a part of the feast God had prepared for all as we brought some healing, presence, listening ears. and in turn, got more of God's healing, presence and clarity for ourselves. God is so good. Specifically for me, I have a bedridden Dad whom I love dearly and, even though he might be saved, still has deep hang ups due to his Catholic faith. I was blessed by being able to minister to older, destitute gentlemen, one of whom received the Lord, and who prayed for me, congratulated me on what I was doing and showed me the love of the Father in ways my Dad can't. It broke me. I am soo thankful I went.
