This was Chris and my first trip as team leaders. We enjoyed our experience and were blessed to be a part of the team. We had the opportunity to see spiritual growth in several of our team members (for several of the team members, this was their first mission trip ever!)It was a joy serving with each and every one of them.

Chris and I prayed for team unity, for the gospel to be lived out and visible to those we came in contact with, and most of all love both within the team and for the people of Honduras. God answered these prayers. Our team provided quality healthcare and compassion to all of the patients. It was beautiful to see and be a part of.

We ended up doing 20 house visits and everyone on the team was able to participate in at least one visit. (An emotional time for all)

We saw close to 800 patients, 80 dental patients, and gave out over 600 pairs of reading glasses. We also delivered over 200 food bags (although riding in the back of the flatbed truck wasn’t very comfortable). But best of all, 37 people became believers in Jesus.

I look forward (as does Chris) to our next trip.
