POSITIONS NEEDED: Physicians, Dermatologist, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Pharmacists, Nurses, Physical & Occupational Therapists, Logistics (non-medical helpers)
To all doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, physical therapists, and anyone that loves the Lord and wants to advance the Kingdom of God, we have the opportunity for you. We are going to Malacatos, Ecuador. Malacatos is a farming community producing sugar cane, corn, beans and yucca. The population is around 8,000 and the elevation is about 4,800 feet above sea level in the Andes Mountains. The temperature is pleasant year round and we will not need any kinds of shots or malaria prevention meds. We will probably stay in Vilcabamba where there are numerous hotels and is about 15 minutes south of Malacatos. This is a very picturesque area as is most of Ecuador. We will fly into Quito, spend Saturday night there and then fly to Catamayo and land at the Loja airport. We will then take a bus for about a 2.5 hour ride. Marilyn Guido and Tammy Ramirez are our partners in Ecuador and they are a joy to serve with.
The exciting part of our trip is we will be partnering with a small start up church that was founded a few years ago. They started meeting once a week as a home group and now they have their own building and have Sunday services. There are approximately 50 people attending now. What an awesome opportunity we have to come along side this dedicated group of believers and use the gifts God has given us through medicine, dentistry and other areas of ministry to encourage this young church family and to share the love of Jesus to this community. We would love to have you on this team as we will worship together, laugh together, cry together and serve our Lord and His children together. Join us for an adventure of a lifetime.
