- Global Health Outreach
With the exception of 1 medical provider (MD, DO, PA, NP) and 1 dentist, this team is full. All other positions, please explore our other trip opportunities at www.ghotrips.org.
We welcome physicians, dentists, pharmacists, optometrists, ophthalmologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, first responders, dental hygienists, dental assistants, physical/occupational therapists, students, and logistics (non-medical helpers) on all of our general medicine and dentistry trips.
Are you interested in a medical mission with an emphasis on sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Come join the 2019 GHO team to this East African country.
The team will provide medical and dental care as a draw for people to hear the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. During our time in the country, we will see upwards of 2000 patients. What a joy to be able to offer them not only needed medical and dental care but introduce them to the Great Physician who can impact their lives for eternity!
The first week we will minister in a more rural town with a drive of about 6 hours from the capital city. The team will be lodged in a hotel and the clinic will be set up in a local health facility near by.
The weekend in between clinic weeks will be spent on a safari in the Masai Mara, which offers an amazing chance to refresh and enjoy the glories of God's creation. This will be an additional $320.00 per person.
Our second week of ministry will be in the slum on the outskirts of the capital. We will be located in a school run by our national partner. The students will be on break and we will utilize their classrooms as our treatment areas. During our second week we will be staying in the Presbyterian Guest House located in the heart of the city. Our breakfast and dinner will be provided at the guest house. From a previous visit I can personally attest to the wonderful cuisine served up at the guest house. If you are not careful you will return from this mission trip having gained a few pounds.
