Please join us on an amazing family-friendly mission trip to El Salvador. This trip is a blessing to those who attend, and our wonderful hosts will be Pastors Jaime Leon, Carlos Polio, and Oscar Leon from Oasis de Gracia church in Santa Ana, El Salvador.
We need all types of providers (physicians, dentists, optometrists, NP's, PA's, PTs, OTs, pharmacists, dermatologists, nurses, CMAs, and professional students such as medical and dental students. Non-medical team members are also welcome, as we have many roles in areas such as the glasses clinic, pharmacy, children's ministry, counseling, and more. Children should be 16 and above and will need an accompanying adult; the exception to the age limit is the children of providers. At the end of the clinic week, we will spend time relaxing and enjoying El Salvador.
We desire to share the gospel with all as the gospel changes everything; sharing the gift of salvation and being the hands and feet of Jesus as we serve the people of El Salvador are a true blessing and a privilege. This ministry follows Jesus’ command in Luke 9:2:”…and He sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” As the Apostle Peter says, "Use whatever gift you have to serve others” (1 Peter 4:10).

Prerequisites
- IMPORTANT! You must have a valid passport that remains valid for at least six (6) months beyond the return date of your trip.
- Foreign language skills are appreciated, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Participate in morning and/or evening team meetings and devotions.
- Serve in the capacity of your assigned position on the team and/or as directed by the team leader.
Preparation
- Submit all requested credentials to GHO immediately. Credentials must be submitted to our National Partners 14 to 90 days prior to departure, depending on the country's requirements.
- Read GHO Participant Manual located under "Forms."
- Begin fundraising efforts.
- Immunization information can be found through the CDC Traveler's Health website at wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel
