My husband and I led our second trip to Honduras, serving in San Marco del Colon. It’s a beautiful area with lovely people.
We served two days in a small town. Many of our patients traveled from remote areas to see our team. We were able to get out in the community and do several home visits. These are very special to the people and their families as well as our team members.
Then we transitioned to San Marcos where we set up our clinics in a local church. We saw medical, dental, eye glass patients as well as did a couple of different VBS’s and a women’s hygiene program.
The biggest highlight was 34 new believers and 8 people recommitted their lives to the Lord. Our team worked hard, had lots of fun and deepened their relationships with each other and our Lord.
Honduras is a beautiful country with great needs and great support through our local host partners Stephany and Arold. It’s such a rewarding place to serve!
