My story is one that has been woven by the Lord. A little over a year ago I met Dr. Eugene Wong and his wife Allison on a mission trip to Greece. About a month later Enoch and Wisdom Nyador came to speak at our church in a small corner of Michigan in the Upper Peninsula. They were brought to our church from a couple from Indiana, Bill and Jeanne Altmiller. On my way to listen to them speak, Dr. Wong had posted a picture of him with Enoch and Wisdom. Little did I know he knew them quite well and their church has partnered with Ghana Christian Missions. I spoke with Enoch about knowing Eugene and Allision. Also talked about how great it would be if GHO sent a team to Ghana. Enoch and Wisdom had later met with GHO in Bristol, Tenn. GHO had previously been there pre-Covid.
I had signed up for a mission trip to Nicaragua for January. I heard from Eugene in December and told him I had signed up for a trip and doing 2 trips was difficult. However, I did tell him I would pray about it, which I did. God answered and said I will provide, I did not weave these lives together without a purpose. This was the answer to my prayer.
God handpicks every team for these mission trips. This trip was so spirit filled, so many coming to know the Lord. Brothers and sisters from many nations gathered together in the Spirit of the Holy Spirit. New relationships were formed. It was a true blessing to be able to serve among so many people with the love of Christ. The joy of the Lord stood out among the many people we served.
