I have never been to Africa before. Had never even heard of The Gambia before either. I am so incredibly blessed to have served with this team. Dr. Frank was an amazing, Godly man, and he led a very cohesive team.
The people we served, the Christians we met, the Muslims we met, and the opportunities we had to share the love of Christ were numerous. Many heartbreaking medical conditions were seen.
I am typically not a person who prays in public often. This trip impressed upon me to start doing that more. Also, I have learned that God is in control of everything. I thank God that He impressed upon my husband and me to purchase an ultrasound probe to dedicate to my medical mission trips. I have been blessed with some financial support in purchasing this.
I look forward to serving God by providing ultrasound care to anyone in any place that He leads me.
