Experiencing God’s special blessing for the poor in Honduras is a very wonderful thing! Seeing first hand, James 2:5 is a privilege for one going on a GHO Mission to Tegucigalpa. Dr. Doug Huene led our team as we cared for the people in 2 hospitals in the capital city. We prayed with them and they showed such kindness. The doctors and other medical professionals practiced the healing arts and the Hondurans responded with heartfelt gratitude. Our team saw Jesus work miracles each day as we praised His name. I’ll go again next year and I thank Him for pouring out His grace and mercy on our team and all the Hondurans we served.
It was a joy to have Joe on the Orthopedic Team again this year. This was his second trip and his loving and kind spirit really connects with the Honduran people. Look forward to serving with Joe again this next year!
