Honduras, Mar 7 - 15, 2026, Student/Family Friendly, w/Dr. Brad Allen, SR1714
This trip is Student/Family Friendly!
We welcome physicians, dentists, pharmacists, dermatologists, optometrists, ophthalmologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, first responders, dental hygienists, dental assistants, physical/occupational therapists, students, logistics (non-medical helpers), and a trip photographer/videographer on all of our general medicine and dentistry trips.
We are blessed to provide primary medical and dental care to the nationals in Comayagua, Honduras. This is a great first trip! Bring the family. The climate is amazing. Our host, Pastor Melvin and his family are delightful.
We will be hosted by the Iglesia Bautista Emanuel (Emmanuel Baptist Church) in Siguatepeque, Honduras which is pastored by Melvin Romero. This is the home church of Tina Cedillos, who has served as our GHO Lab Tech since the early years of GHO ministry in Honduras, initiated back in 1999. There are several other Baptist churches that will partner with Melvin and his home church to host our GHO team. Siguatepeque is home to the well-known Hospital Evangelica, founded by the Central American Mission. This hospital is now self-sustaining (a very good thing) but requires payment upfront for any services. So most people in Siguatepeque have to travel to Comayagua or La Paz to get the government health care they can afford.
