Positions Needed: 4-6 providers, 2 nurses, physical therapist, dentist, hygienist, chiropractor, pharmacist and 8-10 logistics.
Ghana is a wonderful country to serve in medicine and dentistry.
GHO will be leading clinics in the villages of Azegagorme and Adornorkope in the rural areas in the eastern part of the country in the lower Volta River district near Sogakope.
We will be staying in the Cisneros Resort in Sogakope. This facility is right on the Volta River about 2 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. The facilities serve our needs very well. As is true for many of the places GHO serves, we are always glad when we have electricity and the plumbing works.
Agave Christian Union is the host of our ministry. This organization is composed of approximately 20 different church groups in this district. Each year they sponsor clinics in two villages in this huge region.
The response and the needs can be overwhelming as we minister in this region of Ghana. Expect to be busy and see many very sick people. Doctors in past outreaches have commented that “I have seen this week 5 of the most sick kids ever in my experience in pediatrics.”
We need 4-6 providers, 2 nurses, 1 physical therapist, dentist, hygienist, chiropractor, pharmacist and 8-10 logistics to enable the team to do our ministry.
The local team is very involved in all we do. They are an amazing group of men and women who have come to serve and teach. They will inspire you. The unity Sunday worship is a celebration not to be missed. About a 1000 local Christians will gather, dance, sing and praise for 3 or more hours.
This will be my 12th time to serve in Ghana. The local lead man is Enoch Nyador from Ghana Christian Mission. He is God’s man for sure in Ghana.
