Come and join us as we partner with the Oasis Church in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to meet the needs of the prisoners in the Santo Domingo area and beyond. Oasis Church is a flagship church that partners with GHO and is full of wonderful brothers and sisters who love Jesus and love to serve Him. We will travel to men's and women's prisons in the Santo Domingo area. Interpreters will be provided as needed for each provider and clinic. It is a very safe trip and the accommodations and food are always wonderful and of high standards. TEAM MEMBERS WILL NEED TO BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY!
We will be providing primary care medicine and dentistry and a reading glasses clinic. If you are a physician, dentist, dental hygienist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, pharmacist, nurse, physical therapist or lover of Jesus, we would love for you to apply for this team. Pastor Dionnis Pena has shared with me, "The prison ministry has changed the way our church sees missions. The Lord has moved us from fear to compassion, from prejudice to mercy and grace. We as a church now understand that the Lord also wants us to save those in chains because of sin or crime. Christ has put a new burden on our hearts for those behind bars. For the last years we have ministered at prisons for women, men, and also teenagers, witnessing for conversion of hundreds of inmates and receiving the acknowledgement of the authorities for the glory of our God."

Prerequisites
- Important Note! The expiration date on your valid passport MUST be 6 months beyond the return date of your trip. It may take 3 to 6 months to receive a passport from your local passport office; therefore, you may consider obtaining your passport via g3visas at www.g3visas.com.
- Some foreign language skill is greatly appreciated
- Vaccinations

- Most team members must have some medical experience but there are opportunities for some people with no experience
