All team members must be Covid-19 vaccinated to attend this mission trip. This includes ages 18 and up for this trip.  All Covid-19 restrictions will be lifted as soon as safely possible.

This is a human trafficking relief mission and we are working with the ministry  “Tamar’s Hope” in  La Linea, Guatemala City, located in the heart of a red light district.  We will be bringing the message of grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our in-country hosts are Shawn and Natalie Sagert who started this ministry over 10 years ago with the desire to see women be transformed through the work of the Holy spirit experiencing the good news of the gospel. They have been helping ladies receive education and teaching them real-life skills to support themselves giving them a new chance in life. This will be GHO’s third time serving alongside Shawn and Natalie. We will be bringing gynecologists, lab technicians, nurses, ultrasound technicians, and servants (non-medical helpers).

This country is known for its beautiful volcanic landscape and Mayan culture. With a population of 14 million, it is the second most populated country in Central and South America. Poverty is such an epidemic in Guatemala that it affects the vast majority of its citizens. Almost 80% of the population lives in poverty with 40% living in extreme poverty.

This team will be serving people the world has forgotten. We will be bringing the message of hope through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, letting them know that their Father in heaven has not forgotten them and loves them and cares for them. Please join us?
