Guatemala July 25 - Aug 2, 2020, SR1458
Trip is closed. Please explore our other trip opportunities at https://gho.servicereef.com/events?sort=upcoming.
This trip is a family friendly and welcomes students as well.
We welcome physicians, dentists, OBGYN, pharmacists, dermatologists, optometrists, ophthalmologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, first responders, dental hygienists, dental assistants, physical/occupational therapists, students, servants (non-medical helpers), and a trip photographer/videographer on all of our general medicine and dentistry trips.
We are looking for primary care providers and dentists to run a general medical and dental clinic in Guatemala. This country is known for its beautiful volcanic landscape and Mayan culture. With a population of 14 million, it is the second most populated country in Central and South America. Poverty is such an epidemic in Guatemala that it effects the vast majority of its citizens. Almost 80% of the population lives in poverty with 40% living in extreme poverty. This team will be serving 2 remote villages, serving one village for three days and the other for two days. This trip will be reaching people not only in need of medical care but is still in desperate need of spiritual care. The people have been broken and need to hear the truth, The capitol “T” Truth of Jesus Christ and His Grace and mercy through His work on the cross, to share the Love of Christ. We have a strong national partner who has worked with GHO for years.
Would you prayerfully consider whether you are being called to serve in a ministry such as this?
