Our team was able to participate in the work of caring for prisoners, men with muted voices in our world. We kept Matthew 25 and Hebrews 13 in view as we ministered to offenders in 2 prisons outside of the capitol, Santo Domingo.
Iglesias Christiana Oasis was the local church providing support within the two Dominican correctional facilities. Oasis church provided everything we needed to perform our medical, dental and vision care for 5 days.
The work was fast paced and The Holy Spirit moved as our great God is not restricted by bars, walls or razor wire. The correctional centers were safe secure environments for us to work in and be the hands and feet of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We give the glory to God!
