One child and One story at a time!

I joined the team to Guatemala for Volcano survivors. We served 2 villages, but the volcano refugee camp touched me the most.

I was able to teach Public Health to to a few Guatemalans so they could help their own people. I also did triage and patient teaching, and prayed with survivors.

One grandma lost 10 members of her family to the volcano last year, leaving her unable to feed what family was left. Her granddaughter leaned into me and and gave me such looks that I was able to give her the biggest hug ever. That happened many times. Sometimes we reach the people 1 child at a time!
