Moldova - Whom shall I send and who will go for us...

I heard the call..."Whom shall I send, and who will go for us". Gladly I answered, here am I Lord send me. Where this time Lord...back to the Philippines where I know so many people, or how about Jamaica where I can have a mini vacation. Moldova was his reply. But Lord... I have never heard of such a place and what will I do there? Two weeks after returning I can truly say I am forever changed. My time spent with these strong, hearty people was a precious gift of a lifetime. They were so grateful as I simply took their blood pressure and listened to their heart's rhythm. Several of these beautiful people returned with grapes, or produce from their farms as a gesture of saying thank you.

World team Moldova has done an amazing job of going to remote villages and not just sharing the Gospel but becoming involved in the lives of the people. Some of their team had family members who lived in the village and knew the nuances of the village. I am committed to pray and intercede for many of the women, especially the elderly women who are so lonely because their children have moved to other cities and countries. I am instructed also to stand in the gap and make up the hedge for the young men who spend their days drinking. May the Lord change their hearts.

I can't wait to return to this beautiful nation. In the meantime, I will pray without ceasing that the Gospel preached in every town and village of Moldova.
