One day our team leader sent half the team out to do home visits, about 2-3 miles further up the mountains of El Boqueron. We came across a little girl standing by the side of the road. My heart was immediately touched. She was so sad and as we ministered to her spiritually , we also met her physical needs as she was sick and had been to a doctor.
I saw her little shack that she lived in and thought, " Lord I have a daughter, and I want so much more for her. Is this how this little girl will live"
I don't know what impact we made on her, but I know as we planted the seed; surely God will give the increase. I pray and weep for the little girl by the road daily as the Lord lays her on my heart. I have been forever changed from the medical mission and realize that... I can be whatever I want in this world but.....UNGRATEFUL!
