This trip is looking for primary care providers, dermatologist, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, dental hygienists, dental assistants, physical/occupation therapists, ophthalmologists, and optometrists. The trip specialty is REFUGEE CARE.

The majority of refugees are seeking safety no longer found in their homeland. This trip will be focusing on ministering to the thousands of refugees in the tent camps and will also spend some time at the church clinic.

This country, as one of the main gateways into Europe for people fleeing numerous war-torn and chronically unstable countries, is on the frontline of this crisis which shows little signs of ending. Conflicts rage on in the home countries of many refugees and migrants landing on its shores.

The initial agreement to relocate refugees has faltered since a large majority agreed to it during the height of the refugee crisis in September 2015. Of the 160,000 refugees intended to relocate, about 5 percent, or 8,000 have been settled. That leaves about 152,000 people waiting in ill-equipped shelters to be processed, settled, or deported. Living conditions for refugees in this area are very poor and their future is in doubt.

Since we will be serving a large population of Muslims, it will be important for us to have a large percentage of our providers to be female. This team will allow a limited number of logistics (non medical helpers). The minimum age to participate is 16.

We will have a chance to see the Acropolis and Corinth.

Could it be that you have been created for such a mission as this?
