Trip is full except for Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners.
This trip is going 7 hours into the bush north of Nairobi with plans to care for the Samburu people. They are a semi-nomadic people group who are a subtribe of the Maasai. On this mission you will truly experience the heart of Africa and its people.
The religion of the Samburu is traditionally Nkai which believes in one true God, thought to reside in the mountains where we will be serving. Many still adhere to this but some have now adopted Christianity and Islamic faiths. We will have opportunity to share of our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ while also learning to express our faith across cultures to reach those with this unique culture and worldview.
They have little to no access to healthcare. They may walk for a day to the nearest local medical clinic, often to find that they do not have the needed medicine. We are planning to do a Public Health training and water filter distribution along with our clinic. This team will be very busy!

- IMPORTANT! The expiration date on your passport MUST be at least 6 months past the return date of your trip. Processing times for new passports and passport renewals is 3 - 4 months so be sure to start the process immediately after you have been approved for the trip if your passport expiration date does not meet the requirement.
- Foreign language skills are appreciated, but not required.
